TDSA July 2019 Changes and Improvements
Dear Valued TDSA Customer,
We at TDSA have experienced a number of challenges over the last few months, including but not limited to poor to non-existant Telkom telephone and ADSL service at our Boksburg branch, having run out of warehouse space and struggling to keep up with the volume of online orders that we have been receiving.
We are pleased to confirm that these major issues have been addressed as follows:
We have moved over to a new data and telephone provider and while we are currently operating on a temporary phone/voice solution. We are still experiencing intermittent issues, but our permanent solution should be up and running within the next few days.
We thank you for your patience and understanding in this regard. These problems have been ongoing for several months and Telkom have simply not been able to resolve them.
With regards to our space issue, TDSA Head Office has moved to new admin offices and warehouse space. We are still busy settling in, but this will allow us to better receive, manage and despatch stock, allowing us to provide our Customers and branches with better and more efficient service and order turnaround times.
We have also recently welcomed a new addition to the TDSA Team who will be overseeing and streamlining TDSA Purchasing.
We are in the process of finalising some major updates and improvements to our website aimed at making the TDSA Customer experience an easier and more engaging one.
Finally, we acknowledge that we have not been giving our Online Customers the level of service that they deserve. We made a number of changes to our Online Department in January this year, but they were not enough to allow us to adequately service our Online Customers.
As a result of this, we have made a number of major changes to the Online Department which we believe will dramatically improve the service levels and turnaround times that we are able to offer TDSA Online Customers.
Stefan will now be heading up our Online Department and Chris will be providing support. We will be contacting all Online Customers who have existing orders with us in order to update them on their order status. This will take some time however and we will do everything possible to speed up the process as quickly as possible. We thank you in advance for your understanding in this regard.
